This project comprised of two bridges (4 lanes) over two channels of river Chenab near Chiniot and railway overhead bridge over Sargohda-Chiniot rail track. The works on the project were completed in June 2001 and the Project was inaugurated by the then Minister of Communication Lt. General Iftikhar Hussain Shah. The contractor was M/s Ghulam Rasul & Company. Detailed design and construction supervision were carried out by A. A. Associates.

The two bridges have total length of 520 m, width of 17.58 m and 13 spans of 40 m each. The bridges substructures consist of 2 m diameter concrete piles, with RCC transoms. The bridges superstructures are transversely stressed continuous deck slabs with pre-cast pre-stressed concrete girders. The cost of the project is Rs.450 Million. The Client is the National Highway Authority.

Services provided by A. A. Associates included, Planning, detailed design, feasibility studies, cost estimates, hydrology, soil and sub-soil investigations, traffic surveys, surveys, PC-1 and tender documents. Detailed construction supervision including quality control, measurement of works, certification of bills, contract management and administration, and assistance to client in land acquisition, utilities removal, and coordination with government agencies.
